Regata Máchovo jezero, a.s. (hereinafter RMJ), a.s. greatly values your trust and attaches great importance to the protection of your data, including personal data. In their processing, RMJ proceeds fully in compliance with the respective legal regulations concerning personal data protection,  in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (hereinafter the “GDPR”).

The aim of this notice is to inform about the personal data processing which is carried out n connection to visiting the websites of RMJ (;, and about certain other cases of personal data processing, when the personal data of other persons (e.g. campsite guests, journalists, etc.) is performed during the activities of RMJ.

Processing personal data from contact forms

By sending an inquiry via the request form

Personal data found in the encrypted interface are also collected here; this refers to the following data:

  • date and time of sending the request form;
  • data from the sent request form;
  • inquirer’s potential question;

The processing of these protocol files will be performed by RMJ itself and through the specialised processor Breezy s.r.o., registered office at Plzeňská 157/98, 150 00 Prague 5, Company ID No. 27733823, entered in the commercial register in Section C, File 163153.

Personal data processing in connection to handling requests, inquiries related to accommodation services on the website

In the case of requesting services on the website via the request form or by sending an inquiry to the respective e-mail shown in the given website, RMJ will process the personal data of the potential customer, in the scope of their name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and commercial name (if applicable).

After processing the respective request, RMJ  may use the aforementioned data for its marketing purposes concerning the offer of accommodation service, within its legitimate interest in accordance with recital No. 47 of the GDPR.. In this case, the data subject has the right to erasure or to be forgotten, whereas these requests may be directed via e-mail to

Personal data processing in connection to accommodation services

RMJ processes the personal data of customers (name, surname, date of birth - foreigners, ID card or passport number, address, signature) who stay with RMJ, based on the legal grounds imposed by the law. This refers to the processing required to fulfil the legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

From domestic guests, the data - date of birth is required based on the legitimate interest of RMJ justified by ensuring the correct payment of the local fees imposed by the law.

In this connection, RMJ stores the name, surname and e-mail address of its customers in order to verify customer satisfaction or send commercial offers of the same character, or the service which was the subject of the order. The legal grounds for such processing of e-mail addresses, names and surnames is the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of RMJ consisting of obtaining feedback about the customers’ stay and thus enabling the improvement of its offer and services in accordance with recital No. 47 of the GDPR.

Use of cookies and website analysis

In order to improve the functioning of our website, evaluation of its visitation rate and to optimise marketing activities, RMJ uses cookies on its websites. Cookies are small text files which are saved locally via the browser in the computer through which the website is displayed.
Cookies do not serve for and do not enable the personal identification of website users.
If the website user does not agree to the collection of cookies, they may prevent the collection thereof via their browser settings, as described below.

Google Analytics and Google AdWords

To analyse the websites using cookies, RMJ uses the Google Analytics service developed and operated by Google Inc., registered office at Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

Google will not associate the transferred data incl. the IP address with other data. Google’s declaration on personal data protection may be viewed here.

The visitor to the website can restrict the collection of cookies and their analysis via Google Analytics either by changing the browser settings as indicated above or by:

  • clicking on the following link, whereby an opt-out-cookie will be placed in the computer, which will limit the future storing of information about the visit to the website;
  • installation of a plug-in into the browser, available here. This plug-in works only in the respective browser on the respective computer, and after installation cannot be deactivated or deleted in order to preserve the deactivation of Google Analytics.

Within the framework of the Google Analytics service, RMJ also uses the related advertising functions provided by Google, such as view reports in Google advertising networks, extended reporting of anonymous demographic data (e.g. age, sex, interests) or the displaying of advertising in the content network based on viewed products (“remarketing”), incl. Google AdWords services which serve to personalise advertising and improve advertising reach, and remarketing.

Other rights related to personal data protection

The data subjects whose personal data are processed by RMJ are entitled, upon fulfilment of the conditions stipulated by legal regulations, to the following rights related to the processing of their personal data:

  • right to access personal data consisting of the right to receive information about which personal data RMJ processes based on a request and free of charge; 
  • right to rectification of their processed personal data; 
  • right to erasure of their processed personal data; 
  • right to restriction of processing of their personal data; 
  • tight to personal data portability; 
  • right to revoke the granted consent to process personal data, if consent constitutes the legal grounds for the respective personal data processing (i.e. for sending other advertising messages).

Data subjects whose data are processed by RMJ also have, upon fulfilment of the conditions stipulated by legal regulations, the right to object to the processing of their personal data, if the legal grounds for processing are the legitimate interests of RMJ.  If personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, the data subject has the right to object to this processing at any time.
